Crime of the Century

I find it very difficult to rate myself at this time...but here it is. Physical wellbeing..I give myself a 5. For this my goal would of course be a ten. Everyone wants to be at the optimal health. My plan to get me to a ten is to implement exercise into my weekly routine at least 3-4 times a week, even if it is only a half hour walk. My spiritual wellbeing.. definitely an 8! I feel very in-tuned with myself spiritually and with my beliefs. To get to a goal of 10...I will continue my spiritual path. My psychological wellbeing is probably a 6...4 if you ask my family! I am a very busy person and always have tons of stuff going on. I am a little OCD...but to me that is a good thing. My goal of 10 can be accomplished by some more meditation exercises to take time out and breath...slow down for a few minutes and give more love to those that surround me. The Crime of the Century did not catch my attention the way the first meditation session did. I found it very difficult to relate colors to body systems and then to throw in a window? ... Just did not find it relaxing or interesting. I am still wondering where the name came from? Any thoughts....

  1. I found picturing colors and hold the images very hard to do, as I was trying to listen and focus at the same time. I think this one was a little harder to relax in because of the picturing I was trying to do in my mind. I have a hard enough time trying to shut off the outside world and that is where I was getting confused. Do I think about these colors and where they are on my body, or do I try to say the mantras.....

  2. Getting into a weekly exercise routine is very good for your health, once you get into a routine it will just come in everyday thing and it will feel more fun than like a chore. Taking time out everyday and doing something relaxing such as meditation or yoga will not only help you psychologically but spiritually and even physically. When it came to the exercise I found it to be relaxing, you are right though the name for this exercise is interesting, I have no thoughts on where the name came from, maybe because it is suppose to be really relaxing and is suppose to give you that 'high' that a crime does for people. I enjoyed reading your post.

  3. Exercise would be awesome for me too! I do not know where we find the energy to be full time wives, mothers, students but exercise could cut out a bit of stress. I also thought that the first relaxation exercise was better for me. This one "Crime of the Century", it was difficult for me to focus on more than one thing at a time. I am always going, going, going and found myself just wanting to relax and focus on one thing.
